Kenya Social Protection Conference - 2026

SOCIAL PROTECTION CONFERENCE

The State Department for Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs, together with actors in the sector, will be hosting the 4th Kenya Social Protection Conference from 29th September to 1st October 2026 at the Kenya School of Government in Kabete Nairobi. The theme of the Conference is “Re-imagining Social Protection in an Evolving Socio-Economic Landscape and Climate Change: Strengthening Adaptive, Transformative and Sustainable Social Protection Systems for Inclusive Development in Kenya.” It intends to bring together approximately 500 local and international delegates drawn from both State and Non-State Agencies. The Chief Guest will be H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, PhD., CGH, President of the Republic of Kenya, and Commander in Chief of the Defence Forces, who will preside over the official opening of the conference.
